New “Requested to Join Group” Trigger
A new workflow trigger can automatically fire whenever someone requests to join one of your community groups.

Membership answers can be sent through AI inside your workflow to automatically evaluate requests. For example, you can identify spam, low-quality submissions, or applicants who don’t meet your criteria.

Go to Workflows → Create Workflow → Add Trigger → Requested to Join Group, select your community group, and build your automation from there.
Note: The group must have request-based access enabled for this trigger to work. AI actions may also have additional usage costs.
